We don't sell
hoodies. We sell
belonging.
Kushems is a UK-born streetwear label built on three things: culture, quality, and identity. No drops we don't believe in. No noise for the sake of it. Just pieces made to be lived in.
We started Kushems because the brands we wore stopped feeling like us. So we built one that does — heavyweight, considered, unapologetic, and proudly made for the people who actually roll with us.
Three Pillars.
One Crew.
Culture.
Late nights, group chats, rooftop sessions. Kushems is the lifestyle, bottled into clothing you can actually wear out.
Quality.
320 GSM heavyweight cottons. 180 GSM combed cotton tees. Reinforced seams. We don't release anything we wouldn't wear into the ground.
Identity.
Clean graphics. Subtle nods. Loud where it counts. You wear Kushems because it says something — not because it shouts.

Built between sessions, sold out by Sunday.
It started the way most real things start — a group chat, a bad idea on a good night, and a pile of fabric swatches on a flat-share kitchen table.
We weren't trying to start a brand. We were trying to make the hoodie we couldn't find anywhere — heavy enough, cut right, no logo louder than the fabric.
Fifty units, screen-printed in the spare room. We posted them on a Friday and sold the lot by Sunday. The next drop sold faster. By the end of year one, we'd outgrown the flat, the supplier, and the idea that this was a side project.
Three years in, it's still the same crew. Same standards. Sharper tools.
From flat-share
to flag-bearers.
Founded in a flat in South London. First run of 50 hoodies. Sold out in a weekend off Instagram alone.
Moved into a real studio. Brought sampling in-house. Expanded into accessories — lighters, trays, grinders, papers.
Shipped to 18 countries. Started running drops in collections rather than one-offs. Hit 16+ pieces in rotation.
Tighter drops. Heavier fabrics. New collaborators. Same crew, sharper vision.

Weight is the
quiet flex.
We talk in grams per square metre because that's what separates fast fashion from something you'll still own in five years.
Four steps.
No shortcuts.
Each Kushems piece moves through the same four stages — from the first sketch on paper to the moment it lands in your hands.

Sketch
Every piece starts on paper. We sketch over the cutting table — not in a deck.
Sample
We make it three times before we make it once. Wear-test every sample for two weeks.
Cut & Sew
Heavy cottons, bar-tacks at stress points, twin-needle hems. Small runs, by hand.
Drop
Limited numbers. No restocks unless the piece earns it. When it's gone, it's gone.
This is more than merch.
It's the crew.
New drops land first to the newsletter. No spam. No filler. Just heads-up when something heavy is on the way.
